I am deb, and together with my companion Wapi, we are dedicated to helping pets whose owners are experiencing homelessness. Through my work with local veterinarians and spay/neuter clinics, I’ve seen firsthand how difficult it can be for people without stable housing to access veterinary care for their beloved animals. In between grant cycles, we often find ourselves without the funds needed to provide urgent care, vaccinations, spays, and neuters. This gap can leave pets vulnerable and their owners feeling helpless.

Recently, a pet named Pull Tab was attacked by another dog and needed immediate medical attention. Thanks to generous donations, we were able to get Pull Tab the stitches and antibiotics needed for recovery. Stories like Pull Tab’s remind me how crucial it is to have resources available for emergencies and routine care alike. Every dollar raised goes directly to covering veterinary costs, ensuring pets stay healthy, vaccinated, and safe, while also helping to keep the pet population under control.

For our birthday this month, Wapi and I are asking for your support so we can continue helping pets like Pull Tab. Often, people experiencing homelessness simply don’t have the means to take their pets to the vet, and we help fill that gap for the safety and well-being of everyone. Your donation, no matter the size, makes a real difference. Thank you for considering supporting us and the pets who need care the most.
