In the month of April, the Non Nobis Solum prefects of St Hilda's (Abbey, Maddy, and Pip) will be leading other girls from our school in running to raise money for girls education.

St Hilda's sponsor two girls, Nafikahed and Nuru, at The School of St Jude in Tanzania, so that they can receive an education and to create a better life for themselves and their families. The School of St Jude empowers poor, bright students by giving them a free, quality education so that they can become the future leaders of Tanzania.

Abbey, Maddy and Pip are hoping to run 100 KILOMETRES in the month of April to raise money for this cause. We ourselves, are so lucky and grateful to go to an amazing school with so many opportunities, and it is our turn to give back!

Once the money for the scholarships is raised, we have decided to donate the rest of the money to Australian Cancer Research Foundation in honour of Emma Montgomery, the beautiful mother of three of our St Hilda's girls, and Michael Murtagh - the father of another student , who both lost their battles with cancer during March 

Every bit helps to raise money for both of these amazing causes! And for the girls of St Hilda's - GET RUNNING - EVERY KM COUNTS!!
