After Fire Help was created to step in during those critical first days.

Who We Are

After Fire Help is a New Jersey–based nonprofit organization dedicated to helping individuals and families who have been displaced or devastated by residential fires. Our mission is simple: provide immediate, practical help when people need it most.

We provide direct assistance to fire victims, including:

Emergency funds for temporary shelter (hotels, short-term housing)

Clothing and basic necessities

Food and essential supplies

Immediate financial relief to help families stabilize after a fire

We focus on fast response, dignity, and real-world needs not red tape.
