Help Us Provide Nutritious Meals in SoCal

We are a small group of teenagers who want to take action, assist, and tackle the food insecurity crisis in Southern California. Over the decades, Southern California has been experiencing a trend in rising food insecurity because of increasing inflation, unemployment, and living costs. As a result, people are ending up homeless or in poverty, leading to reduced food intake, skipping meals, buying less nutritious food because it’s cheaper, or starving to death. These people have the hardest time accessing sufficient food and can be found rummaging through garbage behind restaurants to find some sort of food source. Consequently, health issues arise, physical mobility becomes restricted, food poisoning occurs, and death rates emerge. It's saddening to see a basic human necessity becoming limited. Our mission is that we believe that everyone, no matter age, gender, or race, deserves a well-nutritious, adequate, and accessible meal because it is a basic human necessity.
