10 years ago, I received a breast cancer diagnosis. My world was turned upside down. I became my #1 advocate, and through the process, I gained a ton of humility and learned to lean on my community for the unwavering support and generosity they unselfishly gave to me. Through their generosity, my husband and I created the Mary Gilbert Seehawer Foundation to give back the same generosity and support to other cancer patients in our community so that everyone has an advocate as I did in their cancer journey!

This year, we are raising funds to help local cancer patients receive the services of an oncology-certified dietitian through our local Community Cancer Center. Insurance will not cover the cost of the dietitian due to a cancer diagnosis! With your help, our local cancer center can continue to provide this essential service at no cost to the patients. With the dietitian's help, many cancer patients are able to get through their treatments with an advocate by their side and a positive outcome!
