Since Covid-19 reared its ugly head, we've found ourselves facing a tremendous and unprecedented financial obstacle.
The Dog Resort has 26 employees on staff. 70% of them have been with the company for 2 to 7 years. These employees are among the best and most caring handlers in the country. The Dog Resort has developed strong relationships with its bank, landlords and vendors and the owner's been a boot-strap entrepreneur her whole life. While 99% of The Dog Resort's members stay home, The Dog Resort gets through one day to the next without generating any income.
The Dog Resort has been caring for rescue dogs and dogs with special needs for over a decade. We’ve helped hundreds of dogs overcome their fears and learn how to socialize with other dogs and in some cases, humans. We understand that all dogs have pure hearts and that they're all perfect. Not all of us need our dogs to do tricks . Some of us adore our dogs jumping up on us for joy when they see us. Others, love their dogs cuddling with them on the couch or spooning with them in bed. Overall, what every Dog Resort member shares, is the commitment to giving their dogs a place where they can be dogs, make furry friends, become independent, overcome their fears and get physical and mental stimulation. We can all agree, that at THE DOG RESORT, DOGS RULE!
The Dog Resort is a family style community centric operation. We keep our prices affordable and provide a host of no cost services such as administering meds, hand feeding, making and serving chicken and rice or pumpkin to soothe upset tummies, using our own pill pockets to administer medication, doing complimentary rinse offs, giving walks and making our packages non-expiring and so much more. Our senior handlers often, with mom or dad's permission, take senior dogs in poor health home with them while they board with us. We've maintained a country style pricing approach in this big expensive city. Why, because it makes giving a dog what it needs to maximize its well being, affordable.
We're looking to raise $50,000 to help us re-open our Lake City location and keep our Sodo location running. This donation will help us meet our payroll, fixed and variable cost obligations for the next quarter. We're looking to raise $50,000 while we wait to receive the Federal Government Assistance we're entitled to.
Help us endure this epic challenge. Support us with your donation!
