We are excited to continue our mission of supporting education in students in need through our annual backpacks initiative! This year, our team is proud to partner with the Maltiti Africare Foundation (MAF) to collect, assemble, and distribute backpacks filled with essential school supplies—ensuring that children have what they need for a successful, stress-free school year.

Maltiti Africare Foundation (MAF) is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving access to quality education in Ghana by providing schools in need with essential learning materials and resources. They've hosted numerous impactful projects that align closely with BISOU’s core values of equity, empowerment, and access to education. We deeply admire their commitment and are honored to collaborate with them on this initiative!

BISOU is a student-led nonprofit that works to improve access to healthcare & education for communities in around the world. We have led school supply drives in both Gambia and Senegal, providing 100+ students with the materials they need to thrive academically. These backpack drives have made a meaningful impact in many communities—thanks to the generous support of people like you who believe in our mission.

Together, BISOU and the Maltiti Africare Foundation (MAF) are working to ensure no child is left without basic school essentials. We believe education is a right, not a privilege—and every child deserves the chance to learn, regardless of their circumstances. Tamale, located in northern Ghana, is one of the regions most affected by limited access to educational resources. Many students rely on donations from nonprofits or go without the supplies they need to succeed. That’s why we’re stepping in to help where it’s needed most.
