Help us provide a deserving celebration of life

This lovely lady, aka, the Icon of Myrtle Beach, Miss Erica Sommers, has sadly passed away yesterday from complications of long ongoing medical issues, due to her pre-exisiting conditions she was unable to get insurance and those of us that love her, been entertained by her, and felt her love for all of us, are trying to raise money for her services and to assist with funeral costs considering the death was not exactly expected so soon. Miss Erica Sommers began doing drag in Myrtle Beach 20 years ago and even longer than that here in Charleston SC. After performing one night she was brutally attacked and beaten so badly they weren't sure she'd make it through the night, but she not only did, she went on to speak in front of congress to help pass a bill that adds time for attacks of this type to homosexuals and makes them a hate crime to ensure this doesn't happen to as many others, she is a true hero who - though abandoned by her family after coming out, never lost her beautiful smile and love for everyone. As her friends and family we would like to raise some money to help give her the proper sendoff she truly deserves.
