HELP US PRODUCE OUR THESIS FILMS

Hi besties,

This semester of film production class at USC has been a whirlwind in more ways than one. My trio mates, Lau, Brandon and I, have had a hectic, intense, and amazing first half of the semester, but because we are producing three films this semester, we are unable to fund the money to successfully get through this semester on our own. Our class requires us to produce three films with a budget of $1250 each, but without any financial help from USC, the money has to come from our own pockets, which is unfortunately unfeasible for us to come up with on our own. In order to successfully get through our Junior thesis film class, we really need your help in making these films come to life. We have been working on creating these films since January 2021 and are so excited to share the projects that we've put so much time, effort, and heart into, and every dollar helps us get our visions to come to life (while also passing the class).

Throughout the semester, the three of us take turns directing, producing, and shooting/editing our three films. Heres the loglines for each of our films, and once we finish the semester, we will be more than happy to share them with you!

After School Games: A young transgender teen tries out for his new school’s soccer team, but when faced

with unexpected obstacles, he must decide where his safe space truly is.

The Void: A young man struggling with loneliness undergoes a simulation-based therapy session to sort through his emotions, but as a mysterious void follows him throughout the process, he must confront a loss in his past and what the ominous force has in store for him.

Wonderbird: A stubbornly independent woman travels through the timeline of her on and off relationship with the woman she can’t help but fall in love with. However, her overbearing need for freedom forces her to choose between love and her false sense of fulfilment.

Again, we greatly appreciate any contribution. Anything helps us to reach our goal to fundraise the budget for these three films!
