If you have been following Julián’s journey from the very beginning, the first thing we want to say is thank you.

Many of you have stood by our side during the hardest moments of our lives. Because of your generosity, prayers, and kind messages, we were able to face his surgeries, medical setbacks, and continue fighting when everything seemed impossible. Your support has helped us reach this point.

Today, we are entering a new chapter.

After months of hospitalizations, medical tests, and treatments, Julián is now on the waiting list for a liver transplant. Thanks to his incredible medical team and specialized care, he is finally gaining weight and becoming stronger as we prepare for the most important day of his life.

We know that when that day comes, our lives will change completely.

If everything goes as planned, Julián will spend approximately one month in the hospital, followed by a long recovery period with frequent medical appointments and specialized care.

Although we have medical insurance, there are still medical expenses that will not be covered. We also want to prepare for the medical costs not covered by insurance, as well as the financial responsibilities our family will face during the time we will be fully dedicated to Julián’s care and recovery.

We are a family of three. When Julián receives his transplant, my wife and I will be completely devoted to caring for him. We want to be by his side every step of the way, giving him all the love, attention, and care he will need during his recovery. During this time, we will not be able to work as usual because our only priority will be our son.

Our greatest wish is that when we finally receive the life-changing phone call we’ve been waiting for, we can focus entirely on Julián, his surgery, and his recovery, without financial worries keeping us from being by his side.

Asking for help has never been easy for us. But throughout this journey, we have also learned that there are incredibly kind people who have walked beside our family from the very beginning and have made it possible for Julián to keep fighting.
