I don’t know where to start, so I’ll give a little backstory:

We got admitted into Children’s Hospital on April 11, 2025, for failure to thrive. They started running tests and found out our sweet baby had a blood infection. We started him on antibiotics and were set to go home after 14 days. During this process, our son went into septic shock and had to be put on a ventilator. After a few days, they decided to run genetic testing. We got those results back and found out he has a genetic mutation called Mitochondrial Depletion Syndrome. We were told our son wouldn’t make it very long.

Anyone who knows us knows we aren’t the type to ask for donations, but anything helps. Our sweet boy is only 2 months old. Help our family prepare to lay our sweet boy to rest.
