Betrayed is a short narrative film written to raise awareness about sex trafficking and how it often hides in plain sight, sometimes through people we trust most. The story follows a young girl whose life is quietly derailed, and the loved ones and friends left searching for answers. Our goal is to spark conversation, awareness, and action—especially among young people and their families.
After months of writing, rehearsing, and filming with an incredibly dedicated cast and crew, we’re excited to plan our first public screening in February. This premiere is more than a film showing, it’s a community moment. We hope to invite local schools, families, and community members to experience the film together and engage in meaningful dialogue afterward.
We’re currently raising funds to help cover a few essential costs for the screening:
- Venue rental for the premiere
- A sound technician to ensure the film is properly presented and accessible to all attendees
The cast and production team have poured their hearts into this project, volunteering their time and talents because they believe deeply in the message. Your support will help us cross the finish line and ensure Betrayed is shared in the way it deserves to be seen.
Every contribution, no matter the size, brings us one step closer to making this premiere possible and using film as a tool for awareness and change.
Thank you for believing in this story, supporting independent filmmaking, and standing with us to protect and uplift our communities.
