I live with my dog, Boy, in an RV parked on vacant land in Pearblossom, California. As the seasons change, our situation becomes more difficult—without electricity, we face extreme temperatures. In the summer, the RV gets unbearably hot, and in the winter, it’s freezing cold. We don’t have a fan or heating, and I can’t refrigerate food, which makes it hard to keep meals safe and healthy for both of us.

I’m hoping to install a solar system in our RV before winter arrives. This fundraiser will help cover both the purchase and installation of the solar equipment. With electricity, our lives will change dramatically. I’ll be able to cook healthy meals and keep food fresh, and Boy will have a comfortable place to stay no matter the weather. Reliable power means we can stay warm in winter, cool in summer, and focus on building a better future.
