Toffee lost his battle with his diabetes on September 13th, 2025. He crossed the rainbow bridge. We are still in need of assistance.

Hi. I feel really uncomfortable setting this up and asking for help. The last 5 years we have gone through some hardships with my dog, Toffee. Toffee was diagnosed with IVDD and he was unable to walk for a period of time, with a lot of rest, medication, and patience he did recover. Last November 2024 my boyfriend and I ended up taking Toffee to the vet he was very sick. Unable to eat, drinking a lot of water, throwing up. That vet visit ended up with him in the veterinary hospital with diabetic ketoacidosis. He almost died. It was by the grace of God that we were able to finance the hospital stay. He was released from the hospital with a new diet and medication which he will be on the rest of his life. He has lost weight and is doing well. We are struggling to pay off the debt from his hospital stay along with his special food, medication, follow up appointments, and keeping up living expenses.
