Our household recently organized a band show to support a friend's college tour, hoping to bring together our community for a night of music and creativity. The event was going well, and everyone was enjoying themselves as the evening came to a close. Unfortunately, just as people were leaving and the noise ordinance was ending, the police arrived—not once, but twice. Despite our efforts to wrap things up on time, we were issued fines by the City of San Luis Obispo.

This unexpected expense has put a real strain on our household. The fines are a significant amount for us, and we’re reaching out to our friends, neighbors, and anyone who enjoyed the show or supports local music. Your help will go directly toward paying off these fines, allowing us to recover from this setback and hopefully continue creating positive experiences in our community.
