We are a registered charity that has been rescuing and caring for animals since 1953. We receive no government funding and rely entirely on donations and fundraising efforts to keep our doors open. With limited resources, we work tirelessly to provide essential care, shelter, and love to animals in need—those with nowhere else to turn.

In September alone, 42 cats, 8 dogs and 11 smaller animals needed our help and associated veterinary treatment. One of these being a cat called Smokey, who came to us with a disfigurement and infection of his front paw. Following trials of steroid and antibiotic injections as well as light therapy treatment, Smokey unfortunately showed no signs of improvement. After much consultation, the tough but right decision was made to amputate his leg to enable him to live a happier life free from infection.

We need your help to raise £3,980 to pay for our September vet bill and provide huge relief to the shelter. This will ensure we can continue providing the best possible quality of care to animals in need.
