Please help us while I undergo cancer treatments

My late mother passed away 23 August 2023 in her 98th year due to complications from dementia. I was her full time caregiver and consequently out of work for 2.5 years. My wife and daughter and I arranged and were all set to start life over again in Alberta. The girls have been there since June. I was to have joined them earlier this month in August following recovery from vascular surgery. However, a cancer tumour was diagnosed and I have had reconstructive surgery a year to the date of my mother's passing on August 22nd and need to undergo chemotherapy, radiation and recovery through Toronto at University Health Network, Canada's premier cancer treatment centre. We cannot afford to pay bills on two properties at once. Neither can we afford to give up either as we will have no place to live. And now there are medical precriptions......My landlord has graciously agreed to let me go month to month past my lease for a few months..,but the old farmhouse is scheduled for reconstruction .....

If you are part of my school, design, lacrosse or dog show communities, I pray that you can find it in your heart to support us with donations through these next 6 months, if necessary, while I remain in Toronto for treatment until I am strong enough to join my girls as my diagnosis and treatment are here.

If I've created a logo or team uniform for your sports club and gifted it to you, perhaps you can return the favour through a donation..... if I've created a logo or a newsmagazine for your canine association or gifted prizes for your club, perhaps you can return the favour. ......If I've crowd funded you because you yourself were deathly ill, in dire straits, had a relative or friend fighting cancer, or your pet dog was ill, or your house burned down, perhaps you can return a favour...... if I campaigned for you by handing out political campaign flyers with a hip that needed replacing and still knocked on household doors on your behalf, perhaps you can return a favour....if I was a volunteer coach, referee, builder. or trainer for your lacrosse association over 32 years of volunteer service in the Ontario Lacrosse Association, played box or field with and/or against you from 1971 through 2012, (North York.Rangers, Rexdale Warriors, Scarborough Saints, UofT Blues, Carleton Ravens, Richmond Hill Rams, Markham, Nepean, Otawa Renegades, Kemptville 98s Gloucester, Aurora Devils) perhaps you can continue to demonstrate good sportsmanship and help pick up a fallen player.

We thank you whole heartedly for your consideration and any gifting that you can afford. Every dollar will help. Who expects to receive a cancer diagnosis....it fell like a ton of bricks, but because I've given, consistently and as generously as times have allowed, I won't be ashamed to ask in my family's time of need......
