Help our community pay-off and own our Masjid

The American Muslim Center opened its doors in Ramadan 2011, leasing the worship space at 6 Victoria Street in Everett, MA. Our vision is to establish a service-packed Muslim Center and Community Hub in the heart of North Boston, open to all, Muslims and non-Muslims alike.

To achieve this vision, we purchased the 82 Spring Street building in 2015. Work began immediately to refurbish the property and actively work towards our vision. Since it opened its doors in Ramadan 2011, AMC was accommodating 250-500 people daily and now it became a local hub for the north of Boston.#AMC-Debt-FREE

Here is a snapshot of the services we offer the local community:

· 700 - 1500 visitors a week

· 5 daily salah and jummah facilities for brothers and sisters

· Daily halaqah (short reminders)

. Daily Fajr Qur’an maqraa (tajweed, memorization, tafsir)

· Weekly Qur’an classes for non-Arab speakers

· Weekly tajweed classes for non-Arab speakers

· Weekend Arabic/Qur’an school

· Weekly youth club with quarterly retreats

. Weekly community dinner and lecture

· Regular family counseling

Through the generosity and continued support of our community almost half of the original purchase debt has been paid-off.

Today, this is the final milestone to pay-off the remaining $255,000 and let our community have a Masjid and center mortgage free. #AMC-Debt-FREE

The Center is committed to preserving an Islamic identity, building and supporting a viable Muslim community, and promoting a comprehensive Islamic way of life based on the Holy Quran and the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (SAW).
