Help us pay off medical debt to save more dogs!

Donation protected
Unfortunately, the time has come for us to take an intake freeze.
This will not be for long, but we have to catch up on medical bills and make sure that whatever donations we do get goes right to the current dogs; medical, training and boarding for Bijou, who is being returned if we do not find a foster before March 5th.

The photo you see here are all of the dogs currently in our care that are receiving ongoing care. There are also three puppies we have not included; they are already adopted after alter.
Woody is seeking his forever home.

Tommy has doggy dementia and is ongoing hospice, as is Sadie, who also has Valley Fever.
Cass, the new guy, will need neutered as well as Meeko and Jaxx.

You all know Mr. Bean. He just had his major double amputation and neuter, and requires ongoing supplies, as well as whatever devices we want to get to help his mobility after he heals.

Sully came back to us after his adopter, Heather, unexpectedly passed away. He is incontinent, so it usually takes longer for adoption, and he requires cleaning supplies as well as belly bands.

Lady Madonna took a lot to get her where she is today. She is now healthy and ready for spay, but she will take a special, understanding and patient adopter. She is a lot like George was.

Waya is on continual heart worm treatment for the next year. He also has deep sores on his back legs that we are trying to find the root of. He requires special food and ongoing additives to his food. We also bought a Lucky Dog kennel for his fosters for the times he wants to be outside.

Cindy Lou Who will most likely be needing a second FHO surgery after she heals from her first, as well as having her kneecap put back in place. It's about $2,000 for both. She needed a serious chance as a puppy thrown from a car.

Hope is on insulin monthly as well as special diabetic food. It is not cheap. Thankfully, we had a wonderful person sponsor her food! She also needs another 12 hour insulin check and bloodwork redone at the vet, because we still do not have her levels balanced. She also needs mammary mass removal and her spay once she is balanced.

Chili needs another bloodwork check up. His tick fever was so bad from living on the streets his entire life, and the medication made his kidney levels not ideal. He is on fluids as well as K/D food. Again, not cheap, but this should be a temporary thing. He deserves to finally have a normal life after 10 years of bening unwanted.
Bijou is being returned to us, and unless we find a foster, her boarding is a daily cost.

All of our dogs require food, supplies and god forbid an emergency arises, as we have seen for the last month - 5 in on week. Fecal tests, vaccinations and spay/neuters add up.

No matter what, we will get everyone cared for, even by dipping in our own pockets, but right now, we have to care for the ones we have, until we finish some medical, pay that debt, and get some of our really awesome pups adopted.

We are quality over quantity in care for our dogs.

There is a reason these dogs end up in our care. They find us. We will never give up on them. We HATE doing intake freezes, but we have to try our best to get back to what we consider normal.

Thank you all for being so patient, supportive and understanding. We could not save these lives without our amazing village.
