Masjid Salama, located in Beaverton, OR, was established in 2012 with Allah's grace and many brothers and sisters from the Muslim community. The masjid was finally purchased on June 24th, 2013, and we immediately started embracing and welcoming Muslims from all over Beaverton and Oregon. Masjid Salama has been formed exclusively for the teachings of the Quran following the teachings and the traditions of Prophet Mohammed (Peace Be Upon Him). Our main objective is to establish and maintain an Islamic Center (Mosque) for the Muslim community and open our doors to anyone curious about Islam. Before Covid, there were many ongoing events for all ages, such as Somali classes and weekend Islamic schools, and currently, there is a weekend Islamic school running. 

We need YOUR support! First, to pay off the remaining debt borrowed for the land, which is approximately $30,000. Secondly, the monthly expenses are $2,500. Lastly, the masjid itself is in bad condition, and we need your help to repair it and make a welcoming and safe space for the community once again, especially the kids that come to learn the Qur’an and the religion.
