Hi everyone – just wanted to share an update and a heartfelt thank you. After a long week of waiting for the orthopedic implants to arrive, Willow finally had her surgery yesterday. It was a tough 3-hour procedure, during which she unfortunately woke up multiple times and experienced an aspiration. Despite this, the surgery was a success.
We picked her up from the hospital and she’s now back home recovering. Her road to healing will be a long one – 6 to 8 weeks of intensive care, including frequent dressing changes, pain management, and physiotherapy. We’re hopeful the open wounds will close without further complications, and that the plates won’t need to be removed.
We truly can’t thank this community enough for the kindness, support, and generous donations so far. Your messages and help have meant everything to us. ❤️
If you’re able to, please consider donating or sharing Willow’s story to help us cover the ongoing medical costs of her recovery. Every little bit helps and makes a huge difference in her healing journey.
Thank you again from the bottom of our hearts.

This is Willow. She's our sweet, playful 1.5-year-old golden retriever who’s brought nothing but joy to our home. On April 26th she was hit by a car. She now needs surgery on her leg.
We’re a family of six, raised by a single mom doing everything she can - but this is more than we can manage alone. Willow is part of our family, and seeing her in pain, knowing we can’t help her the way she needs, is heartbreaking.
If you can help us at all, even just a few dollars, it would mean the world to us. Please help us give Willow the chance to run, play, and be the happy again.
Thank you so much.
