Hi everyone,
We’re reaching out with heavy hearts and hopeful spirits to ask for help for our beloved dog, Cash.
A few months ago, we noticed a small bump on his nose, as well as increased reverse sneezing and increased snoring. We simply thought it was allergies or a foreign object, but after multiple vet and specialist visits, we heard the worst possible outcome: Cash had cancer. Specifically, it was a nasal sarcoma isolated to his right nostril that had caused structural damage to his bone and decreased the amount of air he was able to receive through that nostril.
Our hearts dropped. He’s always been a very energetic pup, constantly wanting to go for walks, car rides, running and jumping whenever we would return home, and being a constant source of comfort and positivity. He’s been there for us through everything these past 8 years and we can’t imagine a world without him.
It has been devastating to watch him go from being so full of love and life to struggling with something so painful and life altering. Thanks to the incredible care from his veterinary team and specialists, we were able to move forward with radiation therapy. While it is a tough and ongoing journey, the results so far have been worth it—Cash is now breathing a bit easier, his energy is returning, and we’re seeing glimpses of that same goofy, loving pup we’ve always known.
But while his health is improving, the costs of his treatment have been immense. Between diagnostics, medications, specialist visits, and radiation therapy, the bills have piled up quickly and are more than we can manage on our own.
That’s why we’re asking for help—from friends, family, and fellow animal lovers. Every dollar donated will go directly toward covering Cash’s medical expenses and ensuring he continues to receive the care he needs to live a happy, comfortable life.
If you’ve ever met him, you would understand his love for everyone and his infectious energy. Complete strangers always give him compliments, which we know he loves to hear and returns the affection through his smile. If you know the unconditional love of a dog, you’ll understand how much this means to us. Cash has been there for us through thick and thin, and now we want to be there for him in every way possible.
Even if you can’t donate, sharing this fundraiser would mean the world to us.
He’s our fur baby, our sweet boy, our Cashew, Dungo, Cashey, and a million other things to us. Thank you so much for your support and for keeping our sweet boy in your thoughts. ❤️
With love and gratitude,
Mondo, Ciara, Cash, Remy, and Lola
