Help us pay Chatty's vet bills

Hi! my name is Chatty. I got that name because my human Mom and Dad heard me crying outside their window, and it is because of my amazingly loud vocal talents that my three brothers and I came to live with the coolest Uncle Silk (I want to be just like him) and them.

My mentor and idol, Silk is the black cat (he is sooooo cool!) and my brothers Snowy and Tabby (I'll leave you to guess who is who) chilling on the window bench. My other brother Duella is very aloof and hates pictures.

I am the runt of the litter and I was born with some issues, but that never stopped my mom and dad from loving me and caring from me despite the fact that I pee on furniture. I am just trying to assert myself, it's tough with three brothers and an uncle. Recently, my mom noticed that I couldn't pee or poop and she got nervous. So we went to the vet. They tried to fix me, but my blockage was outside of their ability. They still charged mom and dad $1300 dollars. We got referred to an emergency vet clinic, and they charged my mom and dad $3500 just to see if they could fix me. After all of this, I still need to get major surgery that will cost an additional 7 to 8 thousand dollars on top of all of this. I don't want to be a nuisance (unless it is peeing on my favorite chair), but I would be so grateful if you could help my Mom and Dad help me.

Folks, all in all, giving Chatty the surgery he needs is going to be close to ten thousand dollars, maybe more. We hate doing this. We've asked for money from family, and we've tried to apply for loans and credit cards. but we're out of options. As I'm sure is true for many of you, we've never owned ten thousand dollars in our lives. It's an insane amount of money. But the alternative is telling a doctor to put Chatty down over a problem that can be fixed.

We don't know if this will work. They may tell us we have to give them the money tomorrow, in which case this may all be for nothing, as there's no way we can get the money together that quickly. If that happens, we'll make sure to return all of the money you've donated. If we do have time to get the money together, and the estimate comes out as less than what we end up raising, we'll donate the rest to the SPCA.
