Hello everyone,
If you know me and my spouse personally, you know this has been a very hard year. We appreciate so much all the love and support we received when we lost the cats, and i wish we could say things have gotten easier- but they haven’t. valen was recently diagnosed with ptsd and then cptsd, which is complex post traumatic stress disorder. they have been having a hard time (we both have to be very honest but this isn’t about me) and the last few months have been some of the hardest we have gone through. last week valen admitted to me and their therapist they were extremely suicidal and had a plan ready to go. their therapist insisted they get into treatment asap, so we spent the week trying to find somewhere to take them in. valen started partial hospitalization on friday and will be attending this program for ten days 8:30-3:30, and we are very relieved to have found somewhere. unfortunately, our bills do not stop for our mental health. we are extremely anxious going into this because we have no idea how we are going to make rent, car payment, even groceries this next month. so we are asking once more for our friends and family to help us. any little bit will help and if you can share this around that would mean the world. nothing is more important than taking care of my spouse’s mental health, so if we can ease the financial burden and anxiety even a little we would be so forever grateful.
