Help Us Overcome A Fire

Hello friends! I've been close-mouthed about this with those of you who don't know us personally, but my mother and I really need support right now to deal with our home.
On Monday Jan 21, I get a text from my mom while I'm at work that says our neighbor's house is on fire. When I arrived home an hour later, our entire block was shut down, streets iced with the hydrant water that had frozen, and the fire was still going on. The news channels were on my block and writing stories like this one. Neighbors in Red Cross blankets all crowded into one kind lady's living room.

That night we got out our most important belongings and stayed over at our neighbors' place across the street. Later that week we checked into a hotel our insurance Allstate provided for us in Manhattan. The plan was simple, Allstate would handle the contractors. But we hit a snag in the work. Con Edison didn't turn our electricity on for 2 months, leaving our emergency contractor provided by Allstate in limbo. And they still haven’t turned it on, by the way.
On Monday March 18, just one day before Con Edison was FINALLY supposed to meet our contractors, Allstate tells us that they're rejecting our claim and that we have to vacate the emergency shelter they gave us in 48 hours.
So now here we are, in the middle of a housing emergency, trying to find an attorney who will represent our claim, and see what kind of steps we can take to fix up our home and at long last move back in.
While the emergency cleanup was done quite well, our belongings are now moldy and our home has been without electricity and heat for months. We want to move back to Cypress Hills as soon as we can and get on with our lives, and we need your help!
