Hi everyone, I apologize for the long story but it is all very important and I am only doing this because I have no other choice. I can't just watch my girlfriend get mistreated and sexually harassed at work just so we can have money. I start work this week but I won't get paid until next week so Marcy can't just quit or she would become homeless again, we are struggling to even afford rent let alone the Ubers we need to go and make money. She is unable to stay with her parents they are extremely abusive and transphobic and I have tried asking my parents but they are EVEN MORE transphobic and I had to cut them off recently for manipulative behavior. And if you are coming from our discord heyyyyyy<3, you're probably confused because Marcy said she didn't want to do this but she would suffer through the 9 levels of hell before just admitting that she needs a little help but I can ask for her. I would consider the things she is forcing herself to go through for this job hell. I didn't want to do this at all and my girlfriend especially didn't want me to do this because she hates asking for help but this is really serious and we need help this time. I don't know what to do anymore, we were only able to pay for rent and buy groceries this week because we sold our PS4, for some reason Marcy's boss is unable to give her the hours she was promised. Me and Marcy pay rent on a weekly basis, which her boss knows(she hired her knowing she was homeless) so it is extremely important that she gets 25 hours at the bare minimum. Marcy's boss promised her 40 hours every week when she got hired but has yet to actually give her 40 hours so we have struggled every week to pay for rent and other things. Every single week Marcy has to text and beg just to get the bare minimum hours, meanwhile she also fainted twice in the past week because we don't have money for a lot of food and medical expenses and Marcy has to deal with multiple unmedicated medical problems on top of all of this. If you are wondering why I am not working I had a job at a dog grooming place that was too far from us and costing more in Uber rides than it was worth so I got a new job as a Stylist at Ulta, which I will make much better money but I don't start till this week so I am going to have to wait until next week to get paid. Not only is she not giving Marcy the hours SHE promised, but she often sends the direct deposit late, knowing we have to pay rent in like 2 days or she will just straight up forget and then she will give her a paper check. And a paper check would be fine since the owner gives Marcy rides sometimes and takes her to cash the check(we don't have a car she was just homeless), but she also sexually harasses Marcy every single day. There are too many examples but I will give you a few so you can get the gravity of the situation. Mind you this woman is married to another woman, she talks to Marcy about the women she thinks are "super attractive" even though Marcy literally doesn't respond and gets super awkward because why would you say that to someone you work with and don't even know. She told Marcy what her "type" in women is and what she described was WAYYYY to close to the way Marcy looks that's definitely not allowed. She told Marcy she used to be a "ho" and showed her a picture of what she used to look like. And every single time Marcy just doesn't say anything because she doesn't want to lose her job and she get's awkward she doesn't talk about shit like that especially not at work but the owner just doesn't stop. And that doesn't even include the many times she has made Marcy extremely uncomfortable by standing way too close behind her or reaching under her, the time she accidentally called Marcy "babe" and didn't say sorry or that it was an accident so I don't even know if it was actually an accident at all. Or that one time Marcy got off at 2:30 pm her boss didn't pick her up until 3:30 pm and she told Marcy she would take her to cash her check but then literally took her to 2 different stores and got food for her(which is nice but she asked Marcy if she wanted to eat inside even though Marcy just wanted to go home at this point AND she had just "accidentally" called her babe) so Marcy got off at 2:30 that day and did not come home until around 7 pm. 7 pm!!! Her manager forced her to run errands and basically hang out with her(Marcy is not being paid for this btw) for 4 hours and all because supposedly her "wife was out of town", there is seriously something wrong with this woman and all she cares about is herself. LAST but definitely not LEAST, if all of that wasn't bad enough for you, last week Marcy passed out while at work because this lady does not provide enough water for her workers(Marcy works for a small company contractor so she does labor in the hot sun all day). Marcy had an Uber to the ER already when her boss shows up and tells her that she can take her to the ER so Marcy cancels the uber and goes with her. Well I am at home at this point freaking out because my girlfriend just passed out and I am making sure her manager is taking her to the ER, Marcy texts me that they are on their way there and then like 20 minutes later I check my girlfriends location on Find My iPhone just to see if she's there yet and it shows me that she is at home. I'm super confused and lo and behold Marcy walks through the door 2 minutes later and I get so angry. Her boss literally got her to cancel the uber, told her she could drive her to the ER, and then TOOK HER BACK HOME??? I genuinely don't understand how you do that on accident even if you had a long day at work. And if you are wondering why Marcy doesn't just say something to her boss it's because she is afraid of losing her job and becoming homeless again, we live paycheck to paycheck so if Marcy lost this job we will be screwed and I won't even be able to start working. Sorry that was a very long story and I appreciate you so much if you read all the way to the end. Marcy and I just need a little help this week until I can start work steadily and then I will be able to support both of us, it's just this period while I am starting my job is extremely difficult.
