I’m Mara, a United States Marine, Firefighter, and EMT, on my greatest mission yet: to make history by opening the world’s first black, woman-owned zoological center and becoming the only facility in Georgia accredited by the Zoological Association of America (ZAA), a prestigious nonprofit organization dedicated to the highest standards of animal welfare, conservation, education, safety, and ethical wildlife management.

At the Enchanted Immersive Zoological Center, we care for over 40 exotic animal ambassadors, including reptiles, marsupials, arachnids, birds, horses, marine life and more. These incredible creatures aren’t just animals—they’re educators, conservation messengers, and companions in discovery for children and adults alike.

We’re raising funds to support our Summer/Fall 2027 Grand Opening, where our vision becomes reality: a place where we blend conservation and education with imagination, and where representation and inclusivity are at the heart of conservation.

With your help, we’re building:

• Custom habitats and enclosures for optimal animal health and safety

• Veterinary care and medical supplies for ongoing wellness

• Hands-on learning spaces that fuse STEM with storytelling

• A space where future scientists, especially from underserved communities, feel seen and inspired

Every donation helps bring us one step closer to opening our doors and creating a one-of-a-kind destination where wildlife inspires wonder, learning, and conservation for generations to come. Together, we can make history while building a brighter future for both people and animals.
