Help Us Open Rochester's Queer Vegan Cafe- Clownboy Coffee

Hi there! We are Clownboy Coffee, a new fully vegan and queer-owned coffee shop in Rochester, NY. Our cafe will have a focus on providing single-origin and fair-trade, high-quality coffee blends, along with a variety of local, loose-leaf teas, pastries, and food offerings made with supplies from other Rochester small businesses. Our purpose is to provide a safe, queer-owned vegan coffee shop with a focus on our community and supporting other small businesses through product sales and event coordination within the cafe. Sustainability with our products, packaging, and sourcing from local businesses and artists will be a priority, as well as curating an environment for both customers and staff that focuses on inclusivity for marginalized groups within the community.

We plan to be a friendly community space in the heart of the Winton neighborhood, and to provide the area with a great vegan selection of food and drinks. Our hopeful goal is to have some funding to help with plumbing and cosmetic work for our future space and to aid in additional startup costs. We are so grateful to be involved in a community that cares so much for small businesses, and can't wait to be in a position to be able to give back to our community.
