Help Us Open the Excel Christian Early Learning Center in Bowie, Maryland

The Excel Christian Early Learning Center is a new, faith-based early childhood program being launched by Excel Church in Bowie, Maryland, led by Pastors David Porter and Hope Porter.

For over 15 years, the Porters have served as pastors in this community, and for more than 25 years they have been actively giving back through youth programs, community events, mentorship, outreach, and service. They raised their own children here and have been deeply connected to the local Bowie schools and families for decades. This is a calling that grew directly out of years of community work and listening to what families here truly need.

This fundraiser is part of our first round of fundraising to help us take the final steps toward opening our doors.

Funds from this round will help us:

• Complete state and local licensing requirements

• Recruit and onboard key educators and staff

• Purchase essential classroom equipment and learning materials

• Show strong grassroots support from our church and local community

In addition to financial support, we are also seeking sponsors, volunteers, and bulk school supplies, including:

• Crayons, markers, pencils, glue sticks

• Children’s books and early learning kits

• Classroom storage bins and organizers

• Art paper, notebooks, and activity materials

• Child-safe furniture and play equipment
