Help us open a Local Game Store in Wymondham

Hey Paul and Joe here!

For a long time we have both dreamed of opening and running our own board and card game store in Wymondham and after a few conversations and we have decided now is our time to start making our dream a reality!

We have always felt like Wymondham and the surrounding areas has had a need and a want for a welcoming place for like minded nerds, like ourselves, to come together and play to our hearts content. We aim to open a store for people that is a welcoming place to relax, play games, mingle with new people and just have an escape from day to day life.

The past year we have been working with the local Big C charity shop to run a painting session for, primarily, Warhammer and all table top miniature based games. After talking to lots of our regulars, and also hosting tournament games at Ayton House, people seem to agree with us that they would like a shop to be in Wymondham.

Now the question is why we are asking for your help?

Well opening a store is expensive and after lots of sit downs, and conversations over a game of commander, along with many nights looking into what we need we have come up with a rough idea of how much we would need to start with a bang! We would like to have a store that is ready to go offering a nicely decorated/comfortable experience with a wide variety of products along with snacks and drinks, for those long hours of dice rolling, card playing, mini building, fun having days.
