Anyone that knows me knows I am usually a suffer in silence handle everything on my own type person, but would give the shirt off my back to anyone in need. What many of you may not know is that on September 2nd my husband, Allen, had to have a life altering emergency amputation of his left lower leg due to an infection made worse by undiagnosed diabetes. He does not have insurance to help cover the cost of his doctors appointments, physical therapy, or a prosthetic once he has recovered from the surgery . He is unable to work (possibly for several months) which means we have lost half of our income for the foreseeable future and could lose our home and everything we have worked so hard for. We are trying to keep our spirits high and stay with a positive outlook during this new chapter of our lives. Even if you are unable to help financially just sharing this and getting it to as many people as possible would be greatly appreciated!
