Help Us Neuter Pilsen's Street Cats. Join Our TNR Efforts!
Donation protected
Every day I show up for a colony of street cats in Pilsen — a mix of ferals and strays living in alleys, empty lots, and under porches. In this video, you’ll see a glimpse into the daily care: feeding them, building winter shelters, and getting to know the many furry faces who rely on us to survive.
Last summer, I counted more than 20 cats in the colony. About half are already fixed, but with kitten season in full swing, the situation can quickly spiral if we don’t act now.
The only humane and effective way to help is TNR: Trap, Neuter, Return. It prevents suffering, reduces overpopulation, and gives these cats a chance at a safer life.
Our first goal is $240 to fix three cats on May 2nd at PAWS Chicago. $80 fully sponsors one cat. That cost covers spay/neuter, vaccinations, and ear-tipping (a universal sign that a cat has been fixed).
If we reach that goal quickly, we’ll raise it to help more cats in the colony.
Ultimately, there may be up to 10 cats who still need to be fixed, which would bring our total goal to $800. Any funds raised beyond our current target will go directly toward future appointments, supplies, and care for these cats.
These animals didn’t choose the streets — but they deserve safety, dignity, and compassion. With your support, we can prevent more unwanted litters and help these cats live healthier, safer lives.
Help us stop the cycle before more kittens are born into the streets.
