I never in a million years thought I would be sharing my journey down the cancer pathway. But here I am, taking each step with much trepidation.

I feel as though I'm walking blindly down a narrow path with a deep precipice to my side. I only hope I can maintain the focus on my next step and not worry about the many miles ahead. I do not know the future, but I know someone who does and know he will gently hold my hand each step of the way.

I am only a week into finding out the results and at this point don't know exactly what the sequence of treatments will be. This journey is even more challenging in that my local hospital has not been able to renew its contract with Blue Cross. That means that I will be responsible for half of the bill for each of the treatments. I DON'T know how I will be able to make ends meet. Please pray that some resolve can be made to the contract talks between the insurance and the hospital. Thank you for taking the time to read my story.
