My boyfriend and I are facing an urgent and stressful situation. We live in an apartment on the same property as my mother-in-law, but the property is actually owned by another landlord, not her. Despite doing our best to support my mother-in-law financially and emotionally, she has given us just two weeks to move out. Even though she doesn’t own the property, her influence and actions have made our living situation unbearable. She has made false accusations against us, become increasingly aggressive, and even threatened us and tried to come between my boyfriend and me, wanting her son all to herself. This has made it impossible for us to stay, and we have no choice but to find a new place as soon as possible.

We are hoping to move either locally or to Dothan, but the costs are overwhelming. Rent is very expensive, and we are facing non-refundable application and key fees just to secure a place. On top of that, we have two cats who are part of our family, and we want to make sure they have a safe home with us. The sudden notice and the high costs have left us in a difficult position, and we are reaching out for help to cover moving expenses and get a fresh start.
