Hi everyone,

In February of this year, my mom was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer. Ampullary Adenocarcinoma Pancreatobiliary type. She turned yellow (jaundice) and my little brothers took her to the doctor, where they proceeded to send her to the ER. Which then resulted in them flying her to Vanderbilt in Nashville, TN. She has now undergone a major surgery (the whipple procedure) and just had her first treatments of Chemo yesterday and will continue through October, as the cancer has spread to her lymph nodes and surrounding organs, in 1 months time.

Our dad passed away in 2011, so me and my 3 siblings are her main caretakers. I have been out of work for the past 2 months staying with her, getting her to appointments, helping her with everyday life.

As a result of all of this, my boyfriend and I are doing our best to move from Buffalo, NY to Lexington, KY to be closer to my family to help with this huge life transition. But we need help. Unfortunately, money is the only thing standing in the way of us moving and being able to help her now.
