Hello, I wish to remain anonymous for safety reasons. I’m a full-time carer and the only parent and advocate for my two adult sons, who are both have disabilities.

We’re currently trapped in a very difficult situation involving someone connected to our lives who has made things unbearable. Despite raising formal concerns through the proper channels, the situation was mishandled, and now this person knows everything.Since then, they’ve confronted me and continued to make our lives incredibly stressful.

My sons are unaware of the full situation, and I’m doing everything I can to protect them from being taken advantage of.

For the past six months I’ve been doing everything in my power to move us somewhere safe — applying for housing transfers, downsizing, enquiring about mortgages, and even exploring mobile homes and caravans. I’ve started a small business and am selling what I can to raise funds, but I can’t manage the moving costs/deposit alone.

Any help, no matter how small, will go directly toward securing safe accommodation and covering moving expenses so my sons can have the fresh start and stability they deserve.
