HELP US MOVE MOUNTAINS FOR SHONIE

Spende geschützt

On the early morning of March 24 in a quiet neighborhood on the north end of Lansing, 23 year old Aiding Hearts employee Shonie Norton, a mother of two boys (5 years old and 4 years old) was brutally attacked, raped and left for dead. She was stabbed multiple times in her ear, throat, face and eyes by a man she knew and trusted. This predator had the nerve to do all of this thinking Shonie was dead on the floor.
By the grace of God she woke up and crawled outside where her neighbors heard her screams and called the police. Within hours the man was caught and locked behind bars where hopefully he will remain for the remainder of his existence.
Shonie has been left homeless, carless and phoneless and the memories of her attack haunt her daily. She lost her right eye and only has partial vision in her left. She underwent 11 hours of surgery trying to resculpt her eyelids to save her left eye. She was stabbed in her ear which has also impacted her hearing.
As she is healing from this horrible tragedy she can not return to work and is accumulating huge medical bills and debt. We are trying to raise money for her and her boys to place her in a home and to keep her income steady until she is able to return to work as a caregiver at Aiding Hearts Home Care.
Shonie knows God has a purpose for her pain and a reason for her struggle and she will be rewarded for her faithfulness in a time of trials and she trusts Him to never give up.
Please help us in our efforts to help her in her long journey to recovery from this tragedy.
We will keep you updated on her journey.
Thank You for your donations!
