My name is Adham Abu Hammad. I am 29 years old, a husband and father of two children, Tin and Mohammed. Tin is two and a half years old, and Mohammed is nine years old. Our life was beautiful before the war. My beautiful family and I lived in a small, beautiful, and modest house. Our life was simple and beautiful. I worked as a waiter in a simple café, but I provided for my beautiful family with all the necessities of life. I would return from work carrying things that made my children happy. Their laughter upon my return home made me forget the fatigue and pain I felt throughout the day.
But with the outbreak of war, we lost our beautiful home, where we lived the best days of our lives. Our memories there died, along with all the dreams my wife and I had. My children and I no longer have a place to go and now live in a tent. Life here is extremely difficult. I am afraid of the insects that live with us in the same place, and there is nowhere safe for us to go.
I humbly ask for your help to give my family a chance to live again—away from war and danger. Any support can help us move forward toward a safer and more hopeful future. Thank you for hearing my story.
