Help Us Memorialize our Friend

Hi! My name is Blake and I am fundraising to cover the expenses for a memorial tree in the city of Kingston, ON. In April, I lost my very best friend Gahyun (Carla) Namkung unexpectedly. She was 22 years old, and the absolute kindest individual I have ever met. 

Carla was a future teacher, a lover of animals, and a generous soul. She made us all laugh even on our worst days. She was a huge mental health advocate, and inspired us all to be brave and push ourselves out of our comfort zone.

My friends and I would like to have a place to visit her in Kingston, where we all met. As many of us are full-time students or recent graduates, we don't have the expenses to cover the cost of a memorial tree, which is currently set at $546.37 (https://www.cityofkingston.ca/resident/memorials/trees). If we exceed the goal of our campaign, we will be donating the extra funds to the International Society for the Study of Trauma and Dissociation (ISSTD).
