Hello, my name is Keith, and I live with my girlfriend Holly. Our relationship began while Holly was still in school and living in Aberystwyth, Wales. While there she met a friendly black street cat who would always boop her hand whenever she stopped to check on him. During some brutal weather, she decided to see if the cat would allow her to bring him home. From then on, the cat would be called Boop (aka The Boy, The Shape, House Cryptid, and Mr PeepeepoopooMan) and would travel with her back to the United States and into my life. We’ve enjoyed several happy years with Boop but we did notice some sign that he could be having health issues. The vet discovered that Boop had hyperthyroidism and we made it our mission to provide him proper care and a happy life in Austin, Tx. Unfortunately the illness still persisted until it filled his heart and lungs with fluid. Despite our efforts to proved CPR and take him to emergency care, Boop passed away in my girlfriend’s arms on Monday morning. As this coincides with upheaval and scheduling changes at my job, I am asking the community for help with his end of life expenses and a proper memorial urn for his remains.
