Help Us Memorialize Our Baby Cecelia

As many of you know what we are going through, I am going to share our story again.

Taylor and I had a GoFundMe campaign that was in support of medical expenses related to the short life of our baby girl, Cecelia. The funds were sent back to recipients, so I have created a new fundraiser. This fundraiser is for our baby’s gravestone so we will always remember her life and for everyone passing by the cemetery who knows what one date means. That one date may be a short lifetime, but it is also a reminder to others that child loss exists and means just as much as any other life.

Cecelia came to us on December 17th after 20 hours of labor at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston. While those at Children’s were standing by ready to help our baby, she passed after a beautiful four hours in our arms. I remember her little coos, her beautiful brown eyes, and her hair; she had so much beautiful brown hair. When I first saw her face, it was one I felt I had known all my life. While we can’t have those moments back, we will always have them with us.
