The send off Nicole deserves

We are heartbroken to have to share the devastating news that our precious daughter Nicole passed away suddenly in Brisbane.

In this difficult time, Paul and Olga are in need of financial assistance to cover the very unexpected costs of the funeral plot, funeral and other expenses. If you are able to contribute, it would mean the world to us.

Nicole was a very bright, very happy, and very healthy two year old. Nicole loved “let it go”, dancing , bright colours and was getting braver at karaoke. She was thriving, speaking both Russian and English.

Tuesday last week she had Influenza and showed the usual signs.Wednesday she rapidly worsened and was taken to Queensland Childrens Hospital where she suffered a cardiac arrest.

Nicole spent the next two days in ICU and passed away from complications of sepsis last week Saturday morning with Paul and Olga by her side.

Paul and Olga would like to thank QCH , the Russian/Ukrainian community of Brisbane and Penola Casa day care staff and families. Also parents to be aware a UK variant M1UK of Strep A now circulating in Australia. If you feel something is wrong ask your GP "Could this be Strep A / Sepsis"
