More Public Art! Donate now to help the Chewelah Creative District qualify for a second ArtsWA Capital projects grant. We are applying for $13,100 in funding from the WA State Arts Commission. To access this funding, we must raise a required match of $6,500. Every $ helps us make an impact in our community by employing Artists, Creatives, Makers, and others to beautify our community. From recent CCD surveys, we got the message that Chewelah wants more public art!
Projects:
- See our 1st new mural on the Huff Memorial Building on East Main St! One or two additional murals within the district along 395 and Main St.
- Enhancements/repairs to the CCD Kiosk on the city campus, including a new community map.
- New CCD signage and restoration of current signage within the district.
