Hi, my name is Isis Caljé and in November we will be shooting the short Dutch horrorfilm ZIJ (She). I have been a horror fan for a while now and I have always wanted to create a horror film of my own. And now this dream is becoming a reality together with an incredible crew!

The story is set in the '80s in a rural town in the middle of the Dutch woods. Liva, a young woman, is cleaning up after her 21st birthday party when she suddenly starts to hear strange sounds coming from somewhere in the house. She starts to investigate, but what she stumbles upon turns her birthday into her own personal hell.

The film explores themes like: mental health, suicide, grief and the paranormal.

So far the crew consists of: Jonathan van Wieren (director), Lionel Kuiken (DOP), Arif Çiftçi (sound), Noa Eikelenboom (gaffer), Mathilde Caljé (HMUA, styling), Michael Keet (catering), Ruben Koot (best boy), Phong Huynh (light assistant) and Maré Kooijman (composer). My identical twin sister, Selene Caljé, and I will be acting in the film.

However, filmmaking is expensive and we need your help to be able to bring the story from the pages of the script to the screen!

Your donation will help us cover costs like: camera and light gear, catering, costumes, travelling costs, filmfestival entries, SFX make-up and more!

Let’s create more Neder-horror!

Thank you for your donation!
