As the wave of COVID-19 cases in the United States continues to grow, our medical system continues to stretch under the strain. Our nation and our local hospitals are on the front lines of this crisis, but are doing so with an increasing shortage of medical supplies. Help us meet that need! Help us rise to this challenge!

We are asking for your assistance to buy the supplies needed to produce and donate face masks to our local healthcare workers, primarily, and also to any institutions who are in need of such protective equipment.
We are based in Long Island, New York and are reaching out to hospitals here, in New York City, and in any communities that may be accepting homemade donated products. Hospitals on some Native American reservations are particularly vulnerable to supply shortages and we are hoping to help them out as much as we can.

Please donate as much or as little as you can manage! Every bit helps and proceeds will go toward supplies for making the face masks. Any excess will be donated directly to other, perhaps less-considered, pandemic response efforts.
Some healthcare workers, despite having to bear the weight of the lives of so many COVID-19 patients, are struggling to maintain childcare for their kids who are now out of school. Making sure healthcare workers' children are taken care of means our doctors and nurses can focus on their patients rather than worry about if their kids are being fed and kept safe. That is one way we can help them to help us all, and that is something we want our surplus donations will support.
