My name is Danielle, and I’m a proud mom of four amazing kids — one of whom came into my life in the most unexpected and beautiful way.

In 2023, a family friend reached out to me as she was going through a difficult pregnancy and looking for the best possible future for her baby. She ultimately chose the route of adoption and asked me to be the one to raise her child as my own. My life changed forever from that moment on.

I was not only there through prenatal appointments, I was also blessed to be there when he came into the world. From his very first breath, he was mine in every way that mattered — in love, in heart, and in family.

Now, my sweet boy is almost 2 years old. He’s thriving, happy, full of laughter, and deeply loved by his siblings and everyone around him. The only thing left is to make official what’s already true in our hearts: finalizing his adoption.

As a single mom solely supporting my three children, I’ve done everything I can to make this work, but the legal fees, post-placement visits, and potential court costs are overwhelming and far beyond what I can manage alone.

Adoption shouldn’t be this hard or this expensive — not when loving, stable homes are waiting and ready. With everything going on in the world — changing abortion rights, overwhelmed foster care systems — this is where real change can happen: by helping families like mine make love official.
