Help us make Cohen's dream trip to Japan come true

Donation protected

I remember the day that Cohen came home from school and started telling me all about the plans that he had made with his friends to get a house together once they finished school. He said "Well that's the plan but I want to do it when I get back from my trip to Japan." At first I thought that was a cool plan thinking it would pass - I was so very wrong. From that day, Cohen mentioned going to Japan on a regular basis and we said we would get him there one day.

On New year's Eve last year, we were told that Cohen had a tumour in his left leg. We later found out it was an osteosarcoma tumour and was 12.5cm long. It had also metastasized to his lungs (he has approximately 40 lung tumours) making him Stage 4. He has had major surgery to remove the tumour in his leg successfully but it isn't possible to remove the lung tumours. After many rounds of intravenous chemotherapy and a clinical trial medication they are currently stable.

Whilst they are stable, we are doing everything we can to make his dream of going to Japan come true. His oncologist has also advised us to get him there whilst things are going well. Cancer is full of unknowns and we want to make sure we have no regrets.

I have gone back to work full-time and my husband is working two jobs to try and get him there. However, we need your help to make it happen sooner rather than later and help fulfil his wish.
