Hello everyone!

We’re the team behind the Swinburne Advanced Diploma Short - ‘Artifice’.

Artifice tells the story of an elderly man who when his son can no longer care for him is assigned an android caretaker to help with his worsening dementia. But when the man begins to mistake the android for his absent son discussions begin around whether their connection is just as real as any humans.

This is a film we’re incredibly passionate about but need YOUR help to bring to life! Your money will go towards our equipment, location (Villa Alba Museum in Kew, a beautiful non-for profit) and keeping our crew and cast feed and happy!
