Help us make a dream come true & bring our show to life!

Sometimes it's expensive to make dreams come true! Many of y'all have seen some of my rehearsal clips online and to get from rehearsal to the stage unfortunately takes a lot of a bit of money. And I need your help. As an artist I've had this particular cabaret show, one inspired by our childhood stories and fairy tales yet seen through an adult lens, in the back on my head for a long time. It wasn't until I was recovering from my second round of covid that it started to come together for me.

What I love about the show is that it's me doing me, singing the way I want to, presenting what I want to, not what any director or producer tells me to do. It mixes all of my vocal styles from classical to rock and everything inbetween, something people have told me I wouldn't be able to do and I told them, let me prove you wrong. Along with the music are some really great texts pulled from stories and essays and poems. My fabulous piano man, Seth, on the keys and arranger says it's like something that has never been done before.

What do we need to the money for? Just to move forward! The goal for this fund raiser is to fund the initial workshop to help set the show in motion, to gain attention, and to get some really good footage. Already I've spent over a thousand on bus fare back and forth from Hoboken to Boston to meet with Seth. (Bus, not train, which would've been more comfortable!) Why do that? Because I worked with four other pianists before him and none of them understood that I wanted to do something different. Along with bus fare I'm also taking days off work for rehearsal and extra days to ensure I'm getting enough rest before and after our rehearsals so my voice has time to rest. And then there's payment for Seth and my amazing drama coach because, well, they are awesome and deserve some love in the form of payment. We will need finances for travel, a rental space for that initial workshop, video to promote the show, costumes, sets, marketing, a fantastic piano for Seth to rock out on, and simply to help finance my time promoting the show.

Putting this show together is my dream come true but it's not as simple as all the stories tell us! I appreciate any help you can give. Thank you and may your dreams come true. xoxoxo
