Help Us Make A Documentary

Since 2019 I have been working in partnership with The Lending Journey to turn their upcoming bike ride fundraiser into a documentary. This event was initially scheduled for March 2020 but, for obvious reasons, has been delayed. We are now booked to begin riding and filming at the end of May 2022 and could use some financial assistance.

This campaign is a big ask, but if we can raise it quickly, it will help make a beautiful, professional documentary to help share the story of the bike ride and the women involved. This money will go towards ground expenses associated with the shooting, flight, enhanced equipment, and, if there is money left over, helping me live during the months I am editing, and paying some of the post-production costs.

Right now, we are looking for at least $20,000. If we can raise that in the next week or so there is a grant willing to contribute $30,000, at that point there is another donor considering matching $50,000 with another $50,000 getting us to $100,000 of our budget. Every dollar donated at this stage will turn into $2.50 to $5.00 towards this documentary.
